Being 20!!!

What is it like being 20?

Its. Like. Heaven!

Its like sleeping in...
Its like showering in a shower with two heads! (Which by the way is very luxurious.)
Its like going to the pool and tanning.
Its like going to the beach and tanning.
Its like taking fun roadtrips and listening to my favorite music!
Its like playing card games with my mom all day long!
Its like WINNING card games all day long! (hahahaha)
Its like watching TLC and Chopped!
Its like going to the spa!
Its like being on vacation! Oh wait, its exactly like being on Vacation!!!

On my 20th birthday, my parents had planned to let me go to California with some of my best friends. I had been planning on the vacation of a lifetime since about April... but some things changed last minute. It ended up being just me and my mom, and let me tell you, it was the BEST VACATION EVER!!! My mom and I had so much fun! We got there Friday evening and just took the night to chill. Saturday we went to the Outlet mall and got some fun things! Then we went to the movies and saw The Help! Sunday we just chilled, we watched a lot of Chopped and just hung out and played games. Monday we went to the spa and the beach, Tuesday we spent a lot of time by the pool, Wednesday the beach again, and Thursday the pool again! It was all about spending time in the sun! I really didn't even get all the burned, just tan! (kinda!) Thursday afternoon we drove back and my mom is on her way back to Cali right now for a cousins wedding. I am just chilling in my parents house right now waiting for Kyle and his daughter to come over! This morning I went out by our pool and finished reading my book! Even though I'm not in Cali, I'm still on vacation!!!

I have a feeling that being 20 is going to be the best year for me! I am super excited for two main parts of this year. 1) I am going to get my bachelors degree this year. 2) I am going to get my MISSION CALL this year!!! Like I said, I think being 20 is going to be the best year EVER!!!

Tar Cord

At work, there are a lot of things that need my signature. When I started working here almost two years ago, I was really good at signing my name so everyone knew it was mine. Every letter was thought out and in the best cursive I could.

T A R A C O R D N E R

I remember comparing my moms signature to my dads, who knew what my dads said, but it was obvious that my moms name was Kelly Cordner...

As I started signing more and more things, and as days got busier and busier, I couldn't keep up with all the demands of signing every letter in my name. I would look at the Doctors signature, and they have some scribble that kinda, maybe, just a little bit, looks like their initials. If doctors are doctors and they can scribble, than I, being a receptionist, can also scribble.

Today I took a good look at my new scribbled signature I have been doing lately and realized that all I do is scribble out the last couple of letters. The rest of my name stays in tact, except for the last A in Tara and the NER in Cordner.

My name is now Tar Cord.
I just thought that was funny and decided to share it with the blogging world!!!

San Diego in 3 More Days!!!

I have been wanting to blog for a while now... but I feel like there is nothing to blog about. I was telling my friend that my life has become wake up, go to work, come home, re-coup, go to sleep, repeat next day! I feel like my life is starting to be dull, so I need to find exciting things to happen to liven up my life again! Friday night I had fun for the first time in a while, and then on Saturday I went to Idaho Falls and bought myself a lot of STUFF!!! Like a lot of stuff! Now that I'm working full time, I am making a little bit more money, and I can afford to let myself go shopping every now and then! I got myself a new swimsuit, and some bath and body works stuff, and new shoes! It was the best!!!

I just finished packing today because I am taking off tomorrow for vacation!!! I am so excited! I haven't been on a real vacation in about 2 years, since right before I came to college! Last time I went...



I got a little sunburned! YIKES!!!

But I'm going again with my best friend Morgan! Hopefully Amy will be able to go too!!! Staci can't, and it kind of bummed me out, but I understand!

Anyway, this is all I have been thinking about since like... April! This is going to be the best birthday ever! I can't believe I am going to be a 20 year old! SO CRAZY!!!

Sorry that this blog is like super lame! My life is turning into a super lame life, which is why I am just SO EXCITED to get out of Rexburg and get the party started! I am just afraid that when I come back, my life will be super lame again until school starts again in January. Gosh I hope not! I guess if it does, I can always treat myself to some more awesome shopping trips in IF!!!

Dear Exercise,
I know we haven't been getting together as much as I planned, but since I am now competing with my co-workers to see who exercises the most, you better believe I will be hitting up the gym later today!

I need a bathing suit. When I go shopping on Saturday, will you please have cute ones that fit me and are not super expensive! Thanks!

Dear 5 o'clock,
You are my favorite part of the day, and I wish you would come a little bit faster each day!!!

Lame

A dear friend of mine posted about being Lame a little while ago. Apparently... she is not the only one.

I was told by another dear friend, who shall remain nameless (we could call her K. Cordner... NO... Keri C.) has told me that I too... am lame.

I guess when you are 20 years old (which I'm not for another 12 days...) it is not cool to post a blog about how you have TV boyfriends. I would like to formally apologize to my nameless friend for being such a lame older sister, I mean a lame friend...

I understand that Dr. Mcdreamy and that Michael Scofield are not real people. I also understand that we are in no way in a real relationship. I also understand that no time soon will we be in a relationship. In fact, I would rather Meredith Grey and Sara Tancredi be in a relationship with these men.

But for the time being, my roommates and I need a cute boy to long after, and it just happens to be Mr. Michael Scofield. I'm sorry if my TV crush has put me amongst the lame-os. If there is anything I could do to be taken off the list of lame-os, please... let me know!

Boyfriends

Previously I posted about not wanting to be bored. I was mentioning this same thing to my roommates boyfriend. I was telling them that this was the first time ever that I have not been in classes, and that I don't know what to do with all my extra free time. He told me I finally have time to have a boyfriend. So now I can get on that and get a boyfriend! (Because its really that easy to just get a boyfriend!) Since the one guy that I really want to be my boyfriend isn't here right now... I decided to get an alternative boyfriend... his name is Michael Scofield. I have been watching Prison Break religiously since I ended Greys Anatomy (when my previous boyfriend was a brain surgeon I liked to call McDreamy!) Michael is basically gorgeous, and caring, and thoughtful, and insanely smart, and did I mention gorgeous... and he loves his family. Everything I ever wanted in a boyfriend! I decided that this was a good match. I have been on some really great dates this weekend. Friday night... Netflix. Saturday night... Netflix!!! I'm guessing that tomorrow night, I have another date lined up!

Who has time for real boyfriends when there are so many on Netflix!
