Best Day EVER!

So previously I have posted about what would make my Perfect Day! Well today I basically lived the Best Day Ever! Seriously, if I could pick one day to live over and over again, it would be today! So fantastic!

It started at 9 when I got out of the queen size bed in my room at my parents house.

Then I got my swimsuit on and laid out by the pool. Keri came and joined me, and soon we were joined by my dad who brought us breakfast! Nothing better than dunkin doughnuts pool side on a hot June day! Then after about an hour we got in the pool and swam a little bit!

Then I came inside and showered, and right after that Kyle and Nat brought over Abby so I could play with her! While they were over, we watched the movie Les Miserables while eating chips and 5 layer dip! During the movie we had the best time saying things like, "You're In One!" (think of Captain Barbosa telling Elizabeth to start believing in Ghost stories, then think about the actor of Captain Barbosa playing the police men in Les Mis, then you understand why we said that so many times!)

After the movie we went to the new DQ that is opening behind our house. They were having a soft opening today, and since Keri knew like everybody that worked there, we got free food! 4 Blizzards for the price of $0.00. It was like extreme couponing! So awesome!

Then we came home and just hung out until 5. Then we got all dolled up and went to Tempe! We ate dinner at the IHOP next to the Gammage theater. I had the delicious cinn-a-stack pancakes! SO GOOD!!! Then we walked over to the theater for the very reason I flew down to Arizona this weekend...

This play was SO SO SO GOOD!!! I cannot even tell you how much I loved it! I just cannot describe it, it was amazing! 2nd only to my brothers high school production of Dracula! (um, that was a joke!) It was the best! I can't decide if I liked it more than Wicked, because they are both so different. I laughed the entire way through Wicked, and I cried the entire way through Les Mis. SO SO SO GOOD!!!

My favorite song was On My Own! I totally know how that girl feels when she is in love with a guy that loves someone else! But lets not make this about me, haha! The play was amazing, and if you haven't seen it, I think you should do all you can! If you want someone to go with, call me! I will travel a thousand miles (literally) to see this play!

Planner

I had a very funny conversation with a friend of mine the other day. He was stressing about how hard his chemistry class is, and how he has to take the next class next semester! Since registration opened this week, he was telling me how next semester he is taking the next Chem. class, Biology, and Physics, all of which are 4 credits and super hard! And the thought of taking all of them at once was really overwhelming him. As I’m listening to him freak out, I thought… dude, Calm Down!!!

The conversation reminded me of a story I heard once, I think it was in General Conference. I just spent about 30 minutes searching for it though, and I couldn’t find it. But in the story, there is someone who has to undergo a lot of chemotherapy treatments for her cancer. She was saying how she just doesn’t think she can go through 20 or so more. But somebody asked her, “Can you go through just one more?” She said that she thinks she could do one more. The person made his point that she just has to do one at a time. Instead of thinking about everything at once, just take it one treatment at a time, one day at a time. (I really wish I could have found this story, if you know what it is please let me know!)

Then my friend said something that really shocked me. He said… AAHHH… Just make my decision for me! Tell me what to do! The reason that shocked me is because I had JUST asked my parents to tell me what I should do the day before my friend asked me! When he asked me I just laughed at him and said, I can’t tell you what to do! Even though I was mad when my parents didn’t tell me what to do!

He said that he was a planner, and that he needs everything to be planned out. Well I am the same exact way! I have my summer and fall planned out, I know what I want to do in the winter, I just need to find an internship. I know what classes I have to take for next spring, and I have the day to sign up for graduation in my phone so I won’t forget it! Then I plan on going on a mission, coming home and applying to Grad Schools, and then I will graduate with a Masters Degree in spring 2016, and I will only be 24 years old!!! So ya… I’m a planner too! And sometimes thinking about everything I have to do scares me. But if I can just remember to take everyday just one at a time, life would be so much easier. I do not need to stress over things that are not even happening in my life yet! Just like my friend shouldn’t stress about all the classes that he is not even taking yet! I just need to remember that today is Wednesday, and I only need to get done the things on my Wednesday to-do list, not my life-time to-do list!

As in the words of on the talented Jordin Sparks…
*One step at a time
There’s no need to rush
It’s like learning to fly
Or falling in love…*
(Not sure what the last two parts of the song have to do with my blog, but just go with it!)

Memorial Day

Growing up I always LOVED Memorial Day! We were officially done with school, it was summer time, and it was also time to party! We always invited our cousins over and had a big pool party and a barbeque and just played the whole day!

Well last Wednesday something very awesome happened.

Abigail was born!!! So thats when I decided I would come home and spend the weekend with my family! I first had plans to stay until Monday morning and travel back up on Monday. But with a little convincing from my mom, I decided to stay until tomorrow! I might miss my classes tomorrow, but I think spending time with your family is a little more important than 1 day of classes! And so now I get to stay for the party! My cousins are coming over later and we are going to party!!! They are playing softball right now but I didn't go because I didn't pack anything that would be good to play softball in! Oh well! Also I get to see Abby one more time today before I leave so that will be fun! I have just loved every second of being home! But I have forgotten a little that I still am in school... and I should buckle down after the party and get my homework done! Dang it!

Obsessed Part 2

So this week has been a VERY exciting week... with 3 more amazing finales to blog about!!!

Make It or Break It had such a good finale! I was so glad that the girls finally worked things out and won GOLD!!!! But I was VERY disappointing that they made Max gay... that kind of ruined it for me. He was like my favorite! And I'm really glad that Lauren came clean with the whole thing about Sasha and that he forgave her! I was so scared when Payson accepted the money, and then she got offered a scholorship... that was pretty sad! It was a really good finale, I'm just so mad that Emily isn't there at all anymore. I thought maybe they would bring her back this episode or something, but nope... shes gone! So sad.

Glee is probably my most favorite show at the time! I have been dying all season because Finn and Rachel haven't been together. And then last week when he finally broke up with Quinn, I was SO EXCITED!!! Then when they got to NYC this last episode and Rachel said she couldn't be with him, my heart broke a little bit! I thought she was being very dumb about the whole thing. But I thought the NYC experience was great. I loved when Rachel and Kurt sang Wicked on the Broadway Stage! And I loved that they had breakfast at Tiffanys. They are so cute! Also I loved nationals, I thought the other groups were really good and so was New Directions! Okay, the first song Finn wrote was AMAZING! And then the fact that they kissed after the song... WOAH! That was pretty epic. The whole place was quite and it was really crazy... Then Mr. Shoester started to clap and they sang their next song... and then they didn't win. I was sad... but lets be honest, if they won, the show couldn't get much better. At least now they have next season to try and win Nationals! And Finn and Rachel better stay together! They were so kiss, the kiss in the library was SO CUTE!!! I didn't expect them to win anyway. OH! And Mercades and Sam! Did anyone else think that was a great match! I am so happy for both of them!!! :D
-Side Note, a Glee song just came on my Pandora! Its Sam singing Baby! Big fan, big fan!!!

And now for the real deal, the main reason people own a TV. American Idol!
I thought they did a really great finale! I really liked Casey singing with Jack Black! I also loved Lauren and Carrie Underwood! But lets be honest, the best part was Lady Gaga! (Ok, that was sarcastic...) I really did like crazy Steven Tyler singing his song. I LOVE that song, and he did a really good job at it! (Obviously... its his song! haha) Then... it was time. I was holding my breath. I couldn't take it anymore! I needed to know... all these thoughts were running through my mind. Each performance they all did, each funny thing they did, their auditions, everything about them, when my thoughts were interrupted by Ryan announcing that SCOTTY WON!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!! Go Scotty! He has been a favorite of mine since his audition! SO GOOD! Also, I have been saying that Scotty and Lauren should go out, and guess what, THEY ARE! At least I think they are! Its all over the internet today that these two are together. They way they kissed after he won, and how he hugged her super long and said that he will always love her... these little things tipped me off! I hope they can have a long and happy American Idol relationship!!! hahahaa

So I think that is all my shows! They are all over. I'm kinda heart broken. I have been watching The Voice on Hulu, so I guess I will keep watching that. But thats about it. Now to get back to real life. I am trying to finish all my homework due next Tuesday so that I don't have any homework to do to distract me from this little sweetheart...

Abigail Cordner, Born May 25, 2011 around 6:20 a.m. 7lbs 10 oz, 21 inches long!
I can't wait to go home tomorrow to play with her! And by play I mean just look at and maybe hold since 3 day olds don't really feel like playing! hahaha

Bieber Fever!

Thats right everyone. I have it! BAD! I love Justin Bieber!!!! Heres how it started:

I was driving home from school about two years ago. I turned on the radio and there was this little boy on the radio talking about how he just signed a record deal with Usher and how he was moving to LA to work on some stuff. Then he sang One Time accoustically, and I was hooked! I thought he was so good! Honestly I thought it was a little black boy the way he was talking about Usher and sang one of his songs as well. So I get home and look him up and find that he has tons of videos of him singing covers. My favorite was him singing With You by Chris Brown. I kind of freaked out over him. I showed videos of him to my sister, my friends, and I even brought my laptop out to the kitchen and forced my mom to watch him sing. I think she just said with a glazed look on her face... He's really good Tara... while she did something else! Sorry mom! hahahha...

So then some time goes by. Everyday I am looking up his myspace that had like 2 pictures of him and one song. One Time. I am addicted to this song and I listen to it on repeat for the whole summer before I get to college. Once I get to BYU-Idaho, myspace is blocked. So I didn't bother looking it up anymore. Before I knew it the song was out on iTunes anyway. I think it was out around Thanksgiving time because I remember listening to it off my iPod on the way to Salt Lake for the break.

That Christmas I got Keri his CD. Not even sure if she wanted it, I just wanted her to have it. (Also, I totally let it leak what I got her when I said... Keri, In MY WORLD, I just don't tell people what they got for Christmas! She figured it out with a little help from google! haha) I took her CD and put it on my laptop and listened to it a ton in the Winter 2010 semester. Also I followed his youtube, so I saw it when he put up his acoustic version of Baby. That was in the beginning of the year. Then the day Baby came out on iTunes I'm pretty sure I bought it. I could go on about every time I heard a new song of his and how I fell in love all over again, but I am going to spare you all those details...

The reason I bring this up is because I watched Never Say Never for the 3rd time today, and each time I fall for him harder!!! Bieber Fever has kicked in again... If you hate him... just watch the movie. My roommate who likes to make fun of him said she was surprised at how good the movie really was. The reason he has gotten a bad rep has nothing to do with him, it has to do with his crazy physco fans! Those girls on the movie really scared me, and I'm a hard core fan of someone else... and I'm nothing like these Beiber fans! haha.

Basically... I wish I wasn't 3 years older than him. Then we might actually have a chance at true love! haha, okay not really. I just really really love Justin Bieber!

Obsessed

Fact: I love TV shows.
Fact: Its May, which means season finales
Fact: I hate/love season finales!

Now for my opinons!!!

Caution, this may have spoilers for those lazy people who haven't been keeping up with their shows!

I love this show! I thought the finale was pretty good! The two part paintball was clever, only it has already been done before. Also there was nothing that was really leaving me wanting to watch Community next semester. Anne and Abed kissed, and that was just really random and out there! They kicked Pierce out, then he won the game, then they let him back, and he said no. Ok, well that was weird! I feel like it wasn't a good finale. Maybe 3 episodes earlier when Shirley had her baby would have been a better finale... but the paintball game seemed weird to me. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but I just thought it wasn't an amazing finale! And I"m really sad I won't see anything new from that show for a while...

I hate to say this, but I think this might have been my least favorite finale. Oh no, we don't have a manager, lets interview a to/n of weirdos, make the regular people look weird (Daryl) and then end it with a huge cliffhanger... Who will the new manager be? Well since we have been waiting since MIcheal said he was leaving to learn who the new manager was, this question is really old, and not the best to leave as the cliff hanger. I did like that Angela got engaged, and to a gay guy no less... that was kinda funny. And I thought Jim Carrey having to get back to the finger lakes was way funny... I just thought it ended badly.

BEST ENDING EVER!!! Here I was thinking that the finale was last week when the lab assistant died. But then they have another episode. So first I was happy because there was another episode left this season! So I'm watching it, watching it... getting really into the case, and making my guesses as to who killed the man. Also I'm so excited that Angela is having her baby, and all the while I'm thinking... whats amazing thats gonna happen to make this a finale. Then I started to get scared for the baby, what if he was blind, what if he dies... oh my gosh... and then the baby is just fine. So then theres like 3 minutes left, I'm ready to go to bed, and the best thing in the entire world happens. Bones tells Booth that she is PREGNANT with Booths child!!! AAAAHHHHHHH....... MAMA BONES!!! And the only thing better than her telling him that, is that when she says that, Booth smiles so big!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!!! Yes I literally screamed for a good five minutes as I jumped up and down and gave my roommates high fives and hugs! I have never celebrated immorality more that I did that very moment! BEST SHOW EVER!!!

Ok, this is a new favorite show of mine, and lets just say, I was NOT happy with the way this season ended. First off, Montgomery was the third cop!??!?!?! He was a part of Becketts moms death?!?! WHAT!!! And then, just when you think he is going to get Beckett killed, he gets killed. And then, while Beckett is talking at his funeral, she gets shots... AND DIES!!!! How the heck do you kill the main girl in the show! Thats NOT DONE!!! And then Castle tells her that he loves her, well why didn't he just do that seasons ago! Why does he wait until her last breath to say, Kate... I love you. She smiles, and then dies. How the heck will the show go on without her. I don't really want to watch Castle sit at home thinking about what to write in his book for a whole hour, or follow the other cops around. It just wouldn't be the same. I am very VERY sad about this one. In all that said, I think this was the most well done finale of the season. Even though it ticked me off!!!

But now reality has kicked in. TV shows are not real, and I should not be obsessing over them when I have this on my byui page:
